Direction of the Win7 Workgroup

1. I don't want our activity to usurp any responsibilities or functions of other parts of SCTCC.

2. I do believe that the Mentors need to get ready for Win7.

3. I know that our training people are working on getting Win7 capability in the classroom and training started.

4. From the high interest in Win7 shown in the Kaffee Klatch SIG, a new Win7 SIG may be appropriate. We can support that if it comes about.

5. As a small informal group operating as an extension of the Kaffee Klatch, I see where we can provide current needs of interested club members. I see us helping one another to install Win 7 on our current or newly acquired PCs using a hands-on workshop or mentor format. Meeting in homes might be considered because that's where the PCs are located.

6. Hopefully our group can serve as a catylyst to get the club cracking on support of its members' use of Win7. After all, Win7 is already here!!!
