In the search results, right-click on the desired result. In the ensuing contextual menu, near the bottom is "Open file location". Click on it and the containing folder opens with the desired object selected (aka, highlighted). If you need the complete path/filename to place in some other document (e.g., an e-mail), then, holding down the Shift Key, right-click on the object (usually a file or folder), and in the ensuing contextual menu, click on "Copy as path". Now the complete path/filename is in the Clipboard ready to be pasted into wherever you need it. BTW, I've right-clicked on several types of search results. If it's a file, click on Properties | Details tab. The Folder path is displayed -- that is the location of that file. Now you're a power user . In the search pane, it may list all the files - how can I find out where that particular file is residing? Properties doesn't help. Nelda
